Attendify generates CSV columns Employee_ID, Date, Hours, Time_Type, Position_ID, Cost_Center and Comment. The worker’s payroll ID becomes Employee_ID, Date is the calculated work date, Hours is calculated paid time, Position_ID is blank and Cost_Center currently contains the site name.
This source layout is not a tenant-generated inbound EIB template. It may need transformation, additional fields and configured reference types before it can be used in your Workday integration.
Map the organizational references
A blank position might not suit the target configuration. A site called “Warehouse East” may also be different from the Workday cost-center identifier. Confirm employee reference types, positions, time types and worktags with the receiving-system owner.

Reconcile evaluated hours and corrections
The export uses Attendify’s daily-hours engine, including configured breaks and applied corrections. Missing payroll IDs are reported and excluded from named formats. Blocking attendance days contribute no rows, so payroll needs an explicit process for those omissions.
Define how a correction to an already imported period will be represented. Re-downloading and re-importing a file is not automatically safe replacement behavior. Retain source period, transformation version, receiver run and accepted/rejected counts.
Validate through a supported Workday integration
Workday’s public Time Tracking overview describes time tracking and inbound time-clock integration capabilities. Your Workday administrator should select the supported route and test the actual tenant configuration.
Attendify provides an export starting point, not a certified native connector, automatic EIB schedule or guarantee that no custom mapping is needed. Test a small representative dataset before production handoff.
