Identify the actual kiosk method
“Kiosk” describes a shared device, not a single verification technology. Different products may use PINs, cards, codes or face matching. Attendify’s shared kiosk uses one-to-many face identification among eligible enrolled workers at its site.
An administrator provisions the device with its own code and PIN. Workers then use the check-in/out camera flow without entering their own code or PIN at each punch. This feature remains a controlled rollout.
Confirm network and enrollment before mounting
Attendify’s kiosk requires an online server identification decision. It does not use the personal-device offline queue. Confirm a reliable connection, power and a supported installation before treating the kiosk as the site’s normal capture method.
Workers also need eligible enrollment and the relevant rollout gates. Enabling a device is not evidence that every worker can or should use the method.
Measure the arrival pattern
Illustrative arithmetic: forty workers arriving over ten minutes require an average of four completed interactions per minute. A nominal fifteen-second interaction leaves no allowance for retries or uneven arrival. This is capacity planning, not measured Attendify performance.
Test the actual peak. Record completed interactions, retries, assistance and queue length. Include lighting at the real start time, camera position and people who cannot complete the standard flow. A fixed camera does not make location automatically trustworthy or recognition uniformly accurate.
Define the exception path

Attendify’s kiosk currently has no general non-biometric worker fallback inside that flow. Do not describe it as covering every worker without a smartphone.
Review the processing purpose
Shared identification differs from verifying someone who already claimed an identity. Describe what is collected, searched, stored and used. The required privacy assessment and notices depend on the actual deployment and law; do not assume a generic personal-device enrollment notice covers every kiosk use.
