Attendance operations

Facilities management attendance across client locations

Bring planned and reactive teams’ attendance into a site-based review workflow, with clear assignments, work rules and payroll exports.

Coordinate attendance across different kinds of work

Facilities teams combine planned site coverage with reactive maintenance and specialist visits. Area managers need to know which attendance records have reached the system, while HR and payroll need a consistent way to interpret them. Attendify connects assigned sites, accepted captures, schedules and corrections.

Branches and departments help organize the workforce. They do not automatically create complete access isolation for every action; review the current permissions boundary before promising separate client or business-unit administration.

Example: planned maintenance becomes a reactive visit

A technician assigned to one building is asked to attend a different client site. The manager needs to update the relevant assignment and preserve the context of the change. An attendance system cannot infer the commercial reason for a move simply from coordinates.

If the resulting day has incomplete punches, a supervisor investigates the actual work and records a correction with a reason. The timesheet calculation then uses applied corrections alongside original events. Payroll reviews both the hours and any remaining exclusions.

Match the rule to the team

A fixed site team may use a recurring start/end pattern; a rotating team may use a rotation; a roster-based team needs date-specific expectations. Work rules provide these schedule structures, with effective bindings and explicit precedence.

They do not calculate contract profitability, service-level attainment, asset maintenance completion or customer invoices. Attendance evidence can support those processes, but it cannot establish that a repair was completed or a contractual response target was met.

Bring operations and payroll into the same pilot

Use one planned team and one reactive scenario. Check assignment changes, local work dates, correction responsibility, access grants and receiver identifiers. Compare the final reviewed hours with the operational account of the day.

Document how staff report device or location problems. The goal is a consistent record and review process across premises, rather than a digital count that hides uncertainty.
