Attendance export for QuickBooks Time

Export reviewed attendance as QuickBooks Time CSV rows, one per shift, with local time in and time out, hours, type and notes.

What Attendify produces

Available on the Growth plan. The QuickBooks Time layout is a CSV with one row per reviewed shift and these columns: Employee, Date, Time In, Time Out, Hours, Type and Notes.

  • Employee is the worker's name as recorded in Attendify.
  • Time In and Time Out are wall-clock times in the site's own timezone, as the receiving timesheet displays them.
  • Type uses the time type you choose at export (REG by default).
  • Notes record the Attendify worker code, overtime hours and whether a supervisor corrected the day.

It's a file for QuickBooks Time's CSV import (formerly TSheets), not a certified or partner connector.

Match names exactly

QuickBooks Time identifies workers by name in this layout, so names in Attendify must match QuickBooks Time exactly. Workers also need a payroll ID set in Attendify to be included; those without one are left out and listed as unmapped, so no one is exported by accident.

Review before and after

Days with a missing punch or another blocking exception produce no rows until they're resolved. Overnight shifts keep their real time in and time out. After import, compare shift count and total hours with the export summary.
